Season Format
Wednesday Open League's last game before Christmas Break will be Dec 13th.
The League will resume on January 3, 2024
There's room for 1 team in this league.
Would be great to get a team before we start the next Go Round.

The season format is now based on 23 teams registered. There will still be 2 (two) divisions.
"A" division with 11 teams and "B" with 12 teams. We will play a round robin with division "A" getting a bye and division "B" playing a full round robin.
Every team that previously played a "Crossover" game will now be marked with a win and will receive the win points respective to their division. To make it fair to the rest of the "A" division teams, each team that now gets a bye, will also get 4 points marked as a win. The "B" division crossover teams get the points as if they won by forfeit.

To start the season, teams were ranked by Aggregate Points earned in the previous season, with new teams starting in division “B”.
There are two draws each night starting at 6:50 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Five Rock Rule in Effect
We are playing the five-rock rule in the free guard zone. Under the five-Rock rule, teams are not permitted to eliminate their opponent’s rocks that are sitting in the free guard zone until five stones have been played in each end.
Buzzer Rule
The Buzzer will sound at 8:40 and 10:50 for our Wednesday night league. When the buzzer sounds teams may only complete the end in progress. Unless the Last (16th) stone has crossed the nearer hog line. In this case an additional end may be played.
