Friday Open League
Season Format
Friday Open league's last game before Christmas Break will be Dec 15th.
The League will resume on January 5, 2024
UPDATE: We are now FULL on Friday Nights!!
The season format is based on 24 teams registered. There will be 2 (two) divisions "A" and "B" with 12 teams in both divisions. We will play a round robin schedule to start the season.
The "A" Division and 'B' Division will play a full 11 game round robin. For the second half, teams will be reseeded into 4 (four) divisions of 6 (six) teams each playing a 5 game round robin. This will give each team a 21 game season.
To start the season, teams were ranked by Aggregate Points earned in the previous season, with new teams starting in division “B”.
There are two draws each night starting at 6:50 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Five Rock Rule in Effect
We are playing the five-rock rule in the free guard zone. Under the five-Rock rule, teams are not permitted to eliminate their opponent’s rocks that are sitting in the free guard zone until five stones have been played in each end.
Buzzer Rule
The Buzzer will sound at 8:40 and 10:50 for our Friday night league. When the buzzer sounds teams may only complete the end in progress. Unless the Last (16th) stone has crossed the nearer hog line. In this case an additional end may be played.
