100 ENDS Wrap Up
In celebration of our 100th anniversary we held a 100 Ends of Curling Event January 30-31, 2026. The goal was to play 100 ends on all 6 Sheets. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who attended - the Event was a huge success and we reached our goal of completing 100 Ends on all 6 Sheets.
We started at 9:30am on Friday January 30th and finished the evening of Saturday January 31st at 9:45pm with the Saturday Night Mixed league who have been curling at NHCC for the past 85 years.
There were many notable achievements throughout the event and we've captured a number of them below. Thank-you all for celebrating 100 years of Curling at NHCC!

100 ENDS Stats
A total of 88 games were played across 6 sheets from 9:30am Friday Jan 30 - 9:45pm Saturday Jan 31 (36 hours and 15minutes).
- 76: 4 on 4 games
- 6: 3 on 3 games
- 6: Doubles games
We had 3 spontaneous games pop up on sheets that no one had originally signed up for.
We had 2 games go to 10 ends.
- 678 total player spots across all games.
- 58 of those were our Friday Junior players.
- Over 50 people played in multiple games throughout the event.
We had around 5 endurance athletes play 4 games during the event and 3 of those played the 4 games back to back.
Our ice team worked around the clock to keep the ice in fantastic shape and managed to fit in 2 scrapes.
Our team really enjoyed being part of this event. It was a fun game and the organizing was well done. Thanks to everyone for their hard work and to Chaba for the great service as usual.
It truly was a great event. Thank you for all the munchies and refreshments for the late night/early morning draws..! To the ice crew and all the volunteers...you all are first rate.! Think it should be an annual event.....Next year 101..!
