Advanced Junior Team Program

2020/21 Season

The North Hill Curling Club is excited to announce we will continue hosting the Curler’s Corner Advanced Junior Team Program.  The goal of the program is further developing Junior teams and their coaches.  The program is aimed at U18 teams representing the North Hill Community Curling Club in playdowns.

Depending on program numbers, teams will have a minimum of 1 hour of practice ice weekly and 2 hours of practice ice every other week.  All schedules will be published in advance.  We will be running an injury mitigation program with Studio D, more information available on our Facebook page.

There is also a volunteer requirement for all participants. Each athlete must volunteer a minimum of two (2) Friday nights in the NHCC Junior program.

We will be accepting a combination of teams and individual curlers who feel that they will benefit from and contribute to the program but have a valid reason for not participating as a team. We will accept a total of 36 athletes. We have capacity for a maximum of 8 individuals, as we have 2 coaches willing to step up.

If space is available, consideration will be given to the junior and U15 teams.   More detailed information on the program is available at the following site:
