Ice Usage- Closed until September

The Club is fairly busy; but we do have spots where a group can utilize one and up to six sheets of ice for a team building or fun event. From February onward, Friday afternoons are available for large group bookings.

With some advanced pre-planning, bonspiels can also be scheduled on other days, particularly late in the season (March & April). Call us and we will see what we can do!

We recognize that sometimes things change and the event either needs to be re-scheduled or cancelled. We will endeavour to accommodate re-scheduling of our corporate bookings. With respect to cancellation; if it occurs within 10 days of the selected date, the deposit paid will be forfeited.

The Club has from time to time, sheets of ice available for casual use. We also cater to corporate “Team Building” or social club outings. We ask all users to bring clean footwear and appropriate clothing to the club when curling. Prices are as follows:

  • Casual – $15.00 per hour; per person
  • Sheet rate – $115.00 plus GST per 2 hour slot. (including equipment)
  • Lessons – Call Todd at 403-277-3158 for individual and group rates.

LEAGUE INQUIRIES: Some of our leagues are looking for beginner or experienced curlers. Please call us if you are wanting to join as we will be happy to help you out.

  • Five-Rock Rule is in effect this season!

We are now playing with the 5 rock rule in the FGZ as per Curling Canada rules in effect starting this season.  Under the 5-Rock rule, teams are not permitted to eliminate their opponent's rocks that are sitting in the free guard zone until five stones have been played in every end.  Players can still hit the guards; they just are not allowed to knock them out of play.
