Five-Rock Rule is in effect this season!

5-rock-rule-explained

We are now playing with the five-rock rule in the free guard zone.  Under the five-Rock rule, teams are not permitted to eliminate their opponent’s rocks that are sitting in the free guard zone until five stones have been played in every end.  Players can still hit the guards; they just are not allowed to knock them out of play.

Go-Round Scoring Format for 2018-19

All week-night Monday-Friday teams, with the exception of Wednesday Women will follow the point format listed.

  • Volunteers needed for Junior Men’s Southern’s!!!

North Hill CC is proud to host the Junior Men's Southern qualifier on December 7th - 9th! We will need volunteers to time games and to input scores onto the Curling Alberta website. Please contact the office if you can help. Thank you!!!

  • Please help us keep the ice clean!

Always use the boot boy to clean your shoes when you arrive at the club. Also we have noticed a fair amount of hand and knee prints in the ice, please get up quickly to prevent this from happening while you watch your rock go down the ice. Thank you!
