Daytime

We have both women’s, men’s and combination leagues most days of the week. They are all quite prepared to accept new curlers. The leagues are listed below along with contact information. If you wish, you can contact the Club directly and we will pass your information to the relevant contact for the league.

Ladies’ Leagues

  • HILLTOP – Monday @ 8:50 am; Wed @ 1:15 pm

This league began at the North Hill in 1979 and continues today. You can choose to curl one day or both.  A number of the participants are still working and schedule curling around their work schedule; others are retired. Contact Clarice, 403-295-7424

  • FOOTHILL – Tuesday @ 8:50 am

Most form their own teams; but new curlers can join as well. A clinic is held each fall. All age-groups are represented.

  • FOOTHILL – Wednesday @ 8:50 am

This league is associated with the Tuesday group; but play a more relaxed format (points not score). Teams are drawn in the fall. Beginners are definitely welcome. Contact Theresa 403-630-1909

  • NORTH Hill – Monday @ 1:15 pm

Senior Leagues for Men and Women

  • SUPER 60’s – Monday & Wednesday @ 11:05

This league consists of teams playing both Monday and Wednesday for the season.  Individual players are welcomed and an active spares list is maintained through a spare coordinator. Contact Lloyd Godfrey, 403-288-7249

  • NORTH HILL 60s – Tuesday & Thursday @ 11:05

This league consists of teams playing both Tuesday and Thursday for the season.  Players are age 60 or older although some “under-age” players will be accepted.  Individual players are welcomed and an active spares list is maintained through a spare coordinator.  This league is currently accepting Women’s teams.   • FRIDAY MASTERS – Friday @ 12:30

This is a competitive masters’ age league (age 60+).  Play begins following Thanksgiving and continues until late January.

Announcements

  • Alberta Gov’t Nov. 12th Announcement.

    As per the November 12, 2020 announcement from the Government of Alberta regarding public health measures affecting all indoor team sports, the North Hill Curling Club (NHCC) will be suspending the season starting Friday November 13, 2020.

    All League games, Junior Programs and Practices will be cancelled until November 27, 2020 as per the same announcement. This is a 2 (two) week period.

    NHCC will update our plan for the remainder of the 2020/21 Season as soon as we have the appropriate guidance from Alberta Health Services.

    Please check our website for any updates. Thank you for your support and stay safe, NHCC Board and Management.

  • NHCC COVID-19 BULLETINS

    ATTENTION: Update Nov 11th to the Bulletin dated Nov. 9th please review. Nov. 5th is specific to the Junior Program. Please see letter from AHS dated Nov. 4th. Update bulletin dated Nov. 3rd. Also see Oct. 29th and Oct. 30th for COVID-19 Cases reported to our office. The Management and Board of Directors of the NHCC remain committed to the health and safety of its curlers and employees and have put in place a number of protocols to mitigate transmission of COVID-19. It is essential that all people coming into the facility comply with posted rules regarding the use of masks and physical distancing. We reiterate that ANYONE EXPERIENCING ANY SYMPTOMS SHOULD STAY AT HOME and contact health authorities.

  • AHS requires Daily Health Check before entering NHCC.

    As per Alberta Health Services everyone entering the building is now required to sign in & do a daily health check.

    We have created a Google Form for your convenience.
